Still have questions?
very design label must apply via our online application form. The process is simple, requires no login, and takes no more than 10 minutes. Please note that each BLICKFANG event has its own application deadline. You can find the current event dates and their respective application deadlines here.
An independent jury, whose members change regularly, selects the participants for each BLICKFANG based on a set of criteria, including design quality, innovation, originality, production methods and sustainability. To support your application, we recommend submitting high-quality images that best represent your products. These do not necessarily have to be the exact products you plan to exhibit at BLICKFANG. What matters is that the jury gains a clear impression of your design label. They may also do so through your website or your Instagram or Facebook account.
You will be notified shortly after the jury has completed its selection process (usually within one to two weeks after the application deadline) whether your design label has been selected to participate in BLICKFANG.
Design labels in the fields of furniture, lighting, product design, fashion, fashion accessories and jewellery are welcome to apply. For each BLICKFANG location, the independent jury evaluates applications based on design quality, innovation, craftsmanship, sustainability and market potential. As a curated design fair, BLICKFANG clearly distinguishes itself from the DIY scene and, to a large extent, from traditional arts and crafts. If you’re unsure whether your products are a good fit for BLICKFANG, simply get in touch with us. We’re happy to provide an initial assessment. We can also advise you on which BLICKFANG location is the best fit for your products and which may not be. Contact: Katja Famulok, Tel. +49 711 990 93 45.
The minimum stand size is 6 m² (4 m² for jewellery designers), with a minimum stand depth of 2 metres. Beyond that, you are free to choose your stand size in one-metre increments. There is no maximum stand size. Subject to availability, we will do our best to accommodate your preferred stand size. If your requested size is no longer available, we will of course inform you and discuss suitable alternatives with you.
Yes. You have two options. You can either book rental partition walls, including basic lighting, directly through us. These will be installed on site by our exhibition stand builder. Alternatively, you can bring your own self-supporting partition wall system. Please note the maximum construction heights for each BLICKFANG location.
In both cases, we recommend designing your walls to reflect your brand identity—using your logo or label name, colours, decoration and other branding elements—as well as bringing your own lighting. This allows you to create your own brand experience within your stand and showcase your products in the best possible way.
Head stands are open on three sides and have a single partition wall at the back, giving them the highest visibility at the fair. Corner stands are open on two sides, with partition walls at the back and on either the left or right side adjoining a neighbouring stand. Upgrading to a corner stand is especially beneficial for smaller stands, as it increases their visibility. Row stands are open on one side only and have neighbouring stands on both the left and right. As the number of head and corner stands is limited, you can indicate your preference when submitting your application. Please note that these upgrades are subject to an additional charge (see the price list), but they also reduce the number of partition walls required..
An unlit stand can appear “closed” and less inviting to visitors. That’s why we recommend adding additional lighting for your stand and products, alongside the basic lighting provided with our rental partition walls. For this reason, every stand space is supplied with a basic electricity connection.
The marketing fee includes an individual exhibitor profile for your design label on our website and in the official exhibition floor plan, featuring your contact details and a product image. This helps visitors and potential customers find you not only during the fair but also afterwards. Your label will be listed and linked in the exhibitor portfolio on the respective city page of our website, www.blickfang.com.
The marketing fee also includes 50 complimentary tickets, which you can use to invite existing and potential new customers to BLICKFANG.
Shared stands with two or more design labels are absolutely possible. If you know another design label that complements your own, you are welcome to apply together. Please note, however, that each design label must submit a separate application for the jury.
You are free to split the cost of the stand among yourselves. Please note that the marketing fee is charged separately for each design label.
It is possible that your design label will initially be placed on the waiting list after the jury selection process. This is because we aim to maintain a balanced mix of exhibitors across categories such as furniture and home accessories, fashion and jewellery. We also limit the number of design labels from the same product category (for example, jewellery or bags) at each BLICKFANG to ensure a diverse and well-curated event.
As a result, there may still be stand spaces available even though the quota for your particular product category has already been filled. In this case, your design label will be placed on a waiting list and may be offered a place if an accepted exhibitor withdraws.
Yes. At each BLICKFANG location, we support up to 20 emerging design labels with a discounted participation fee.
To qualify as a newcomer, it is not enough to be applying to BLICKFANG for the first time. Your design label must also have been on the market for no more than three years. If you meet both criteria, you are welcome to apply for the newcomer programme. Please note that the jury decides which applicants receive one of the limited newcomer places. As the programme is primarily intended to support design labels with longer travel distances and higher transport costs, we appreciate your understanding if your application is not selected.
Newcomers receive a 30% discount on the stand rental fee in their first year of participation and a 15% discount in their second year. The costs for electricity, the marketing fee, partition walls and stand placement upgrades are excluded from the discount.
When exhibiting and selling in Switzerland, you need to comply with the relevant customs regulations for importing and exporting your goods. With sufficient preparation and a well-planned schedule, the additional administrative effort is entirely manageable. Alternatively, customs agencies can assist you with the customs clearance process for both import and export.

You do not have to exhibit at a BLICKFANG design fair in order to sell your products in the BLICKFANG online shop. The two opportunities are independent of each other, although combining them creates greater synergies and increases your chances of success.
